Terms of Service
Last updated June 4, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of CLEbook (the “Service”), operated by CLEbook (“CLEbook,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who can use the Service
You must be at least 18 years old and a licensed attorney (or authorized employee of a licensed attorney's firm) to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.
2. What the Service does
CLEbook is an automated assistant that discovers free continuing legal education (CLE) webcasts, registers you for them using information you provide, and adds the resulting events to a calendar you connect. You authorize us to take these actions on your behalf.
3. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information, including your bar number, jurisdiction, and firm details.
- Comply with the terms of any third-party CLE provider on whose site we register you. CLEbook does not control those providers or their content.
- Confirm that any credits earned satisfy your jurisdiction's requirements. CLEbook does not provide legal advice and is not responsible for compliance decisions.
- Do not misuse the Service, reverse engineer it, or interfere with its operation.
4. Connected accounts
When you connect a Google or Microsoft account, you grant CLEbook permission to use only the scopes you authorize (such as reading CLE confirmation emails and creating calendar events). You can revoke this access at any time from your account settings or from the relevant provider's security dashboard.
5. Fees
The Service may include free and paid features. If we introduce paid features that apply to you, we will describe the price and billing terms before you are charged.
6. Intellectual property
CLEbook and its content (excluding content you provide) are owned by CLEbook and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
7. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. CLEBOOK DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT IT WILL SUCCESSFULLY REGISTER YOU FOR ANY PARTICULAR WEBCAST. CLEBOOK IS NOT A LAW FIRM AND DOES NOT PROVIDE LEGAL ADVICE.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLEBOOK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR CLE CREDITS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by emailing admin@clebook.ai. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if continued provision of the Service is not commercially reasonable.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
